About Me:
As a therapist, I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I have experience helping individuals navigate various life transitions, anxiety, depression, and seeking clarity in their personal and professional lives. I have many years of experience helping individuals with substance abuse and mental health issues, giving me insight into a wide range of life challenges. Additionally, I am dedicated to supporting BIPOC and minority communities, understanding the unique cultural and systemic challenges they may face, and providing a compassionate, inclusive space for healing and growth.
My therapeutic style is collaborative and compassionate, with a focus on empowerment and personal growth. I often use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help challenge and reframe unhelpful thought patterns/behaviors. I work from a strengths-based approach, meaning I recognize and build upon your existing strengths, even when life feels overwhelming. I am here to walk alongside you, help you uncover solutions, deepen self-awareness, and navigate through life’s challenges.
I believe that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to your unique needs. Whether you, or someone you know struggles with something like anxiety or depression, or simply wants a different outlook on their life, it’s something to work through together, and by setting up a consultation, we can get started.
